NDVH is a nonprofit organization that provides crisis intervention, information and referral to victims of domestic violence, perpetrators, friends and families.

In King County:

Community Advocacy Programs (M-F 8am-4pm) 206.684.7721. Provides free support services available to anyone who has been affected by domestic violence. These services can include support groups, individual or family counseling, legal advocacy, and children’s services.

Communities Against Rape & Abuse (CARA) phone: (206) 322-4856 online: Organizes the community around sexual assault and domestic violence prevention and provides an inclusive community for sexual assault survivors.

Domestic Abuse Women’s Network (DAWN) phone: 1 (866) 286-3296 online: Provides support services for women in and leaving domestic violence situations, and their families.

New Beginnings (24hour) 206.522.9472. Provides support groups (including a parenting group and a Spanish speaking group), A DV Family Law Clinic, and individual counseling for survivors and children who have witnessed domestic violence.

Life Wire (24 hour) 425.656.7867 Serves residents of North and East King County. Provides groups, referrals to eastside legal assistance and has a therapist on call for those without insurance or DSHS. Also has a teen group, works with male survivors and has a Spanish and Russian speaking advocate.

Dawn (24 hour) 425.656.7867 Serves Residents of South King County. Provides groups, legal advocates and mental health counseling.

Salvation Army (M-F 8:30am-4: 30pm) 206-442-8385. Provides legal advocates and advocacy counseling. Spanish speaking advocate on staff.

NW Network (M-F 9am-5pm) 206.568.7777. Provides an LGBTIQ DV support group and relationships class. Also advocacy based counseling.

API Chaya (call for times and location) 206.325.0325. Has a queer network program, human trafficking project and youth and adults programs.

Consejo Counseling and Referral Service 206.461.4880 Provides Spanish Speaking groups in Bellevue and Seattle and other services in Spanish.

East Cherry YMCA 206.568.7845. Provides groups for African-American survivors of DV, advocacy based therapy and a kids club (ages 5-12).

Provides counseling for batterers, and helps counsel and safety plan with individuals in the Asian-Pacific Islander Community.
