I could be anything
This is a short entry, but a powerful one. Many of the women in The If Project write only a few sentences in their essays. Sometimes, I think these are the most profound. Though the search to find a way to break the cycle of incarceration is a layered and complicated one, it’s essays like that these that make me think the solutions we seek are instead quite simple.

In the mist of your storm God is there. so therefore life is availabe to you nomatter where you are. you are who God wants you to be at this time. you are in the state pen telling your story over the internet. thats more powerful than any worldly fame. Jesus knew you would make mistakes. he knew you would be in purdy thats why he came to save you. keep thanking him for allowing you to live and for purdy .now you have a voice that can be heard. you can still be whatever you want to be. Its never to late. Purdy filled my heart up with Jesus love. Thank God for those that volunteer the word of God. we need them.
